As a teacher, I have had the privilege of working with private students for the past 10 years. It is one of the great joys of my life. My studio currently consists of students of all ages who study cello, piano, or violin with me.
As a lifelong student of music, myself, I have been blessed to study under a number of great teachers, including world-famous cellist Nathaniel Rosen, and I hold a Bachelors of Music Performance from Meadows School of the Arts at Southern Methodist University.
I have also had the chance to record cello for film, classical albums (including recordings by Maestro Paul Phillips and Dr. Jack Delaney), and contemporary music projects.
In drawing on my experiences both as a teacher and performer, my goal with each of my students is to guide them on a focused, disciplined, but always-fun journey of musical discovery as they learn their chosen instrument.
If you are interested in private lessons, either for yourself or for your child, please don’t hesitate to call me at (858) 292-4898.
All the best,
Amanda Devlin -
