Black Winter

Mitch and Lana were the typical jock/cheerleader couple in high school and they plan to stay together in college even though they’ll be a five-hour drive apart. Rick was their best friend and he stays in Seattle to work while Mitch heads south to Oregon and Lana heads North, just shy of the Canadian border. Since Rick and Lana are only a little more than an hour apart, they start hanging out on their own and wind up having an affair. Mitch hears about it from an old high school friend who has spotted them together and confronts them both on the phone. Lana, out of guilt, breaks things off with Rick who has been in love with Lana since they were all kids. Rick goes crazy, kidnaps Mitch, and takes him up into the snowy mountains to torture and kill him.
